Brilliant Ideas

Sarah had long, naturally wavy length that hit just below the shoulders with outgrown layers. Her color was her natural medium brown. She simply wanted to try something a little more daring with her hair.

Stylist Kathy Reed of PON International took several inches off creating a fun bi-level cut with a weight line for a rounded feel but ending in an asymmetrical length in front. The hairline is very fringy for a shorter but shaggy sort of feel.
For her color, she infused her natural medium brown with red-ish highlights through the center to accentuate the roundness.

To style, Goldwell Flexi Whip mousse was applied to the towel-dried hair before blow-drying with a round brush for volume. Using PON International Da Flex working spray, large barrel curls were applied at the crown, then were broken up to add volume. Goldwell Spun Shine was used to add luster while and Cire Coiffante styling wax by Rene Furterier was utilized to piece the fringy bits.

For a softly textured look, a large curling iron was used to create bends all over, which were pieced back through by hand to lightly break up.
