Brilliant Ideas

Charlene had a faded brown color with length to her mid back and ends that were fried and stringy. Her look needed serious help.

PON International stylist Sara Wayne cut off several inches to clean up the ends and remove the damaged areas. She added low layers and a heavy side swept bang for more movement and texture to the overall style.
For her color, she darkened her base to a (level 4) dark brown, then applied extensions with different colors in the blue and magenta range just for fun.

To style, PON International Elevate root boost was applied on damp hair for lift while a straightening gel was worked in to add shine and control her thicker hair. Sara blow-dried with a paddle brush, then flat ironed and applied Shynie for a sleek finish.

For a second look, Sara went back through with Da Flex working spray and a one-inch curling rod (no spoon) and curled sporadic sections in both directions. This created more of a bend versus curl for a unique textured look. More working spray was used for a light and pliable hold.
