Alexa had longer, one length hair that reached to her mid back. Her color was a bleach blonde with several inches of darker ends and dark regrowth. She was in desperate need of a clean up. |

| PON International stylist Mike Christianson started by cutting off several inches of her damaged length. Next he applied a ton of layers all over for texture and movement along with a heavy side bang. |

| For her color, he highlighted the root area, then put copper lowlights through the interior to add depth. She had a lot of gold in her hair and the copper added dimension, but complemented the natural warmth. |

| To style her naturally wavy hair straight, Mike applied PON International Turn it Up styling spray all over and Goldwell Flexi Whip mousse just on top for volume. He over directed the hair while he blow-dried to give volume, then flat ironed where needed for sleekness. He teased the crown slightly along with some PON International Da Flex working spray for more volume, then finish with Scatter FX spray wax. |

| For a loose controlled wave, he applied large sections of hair with Da Flex working spray and curled with an extra large curling iron all over the head. Once everything was curled, he worked back through with a little Frizz Free on his hands to lightly break up the curls and work them into soft bends. |
