Yours Truly - Style to "Write Home About"

Pon Saradeth, owner of Pon International Salon and Academy of Anaheim Hills, California, is an award-winning hairstylist who has become synonymous with setting trends. Style today, according to Pon and his talented team, is all about creating a truly great look for hair no matter the comfort zone for length. Long hair is no longer limp and flat, it's heavily layered and texturized to give a unique edge without sacrificing length. Short and medium lengths are more about classic shapes with timeless bobs taking center stage. These new versions of the classic cut now involve more movement on the interior, which is done both in texturizing and in color. More fullness in crown leads to an exaggerated roundness while the ends are shattered and flicky, but not with the extreme flippiness like before. It's more of a bend or roll outward either on the ends or around the face for picture perfect style.
For color for hair we are seeing more subtle contrast between tones but with finer sections, either in slices or panels. Bolder blocks of color are also still quite popular, but we are finding that natural looking wood inspired shades are taking the lead. Warm chocolate browns, soft coppery reds and toasty caramel blondes mix one in to another for a melding of style and function.
