- Add Zing to Your Precious Locks |
 |
|
Pon Saradeth of PON International in Anaheim Hills, California freely
offers his know-how and insight, which many times sparks the latest
trend, technique or finish for hair in this fashion-focused world.
This season he says "go long"- A bold statement for an
artist that typically touts shorter lengths, but one that he believes
whole-heartedly nonetheless.
|
 |
| "Trends
for hair this season take a step back," professes Pon. "Those
with medium lengths have grown their locks out and are looking for
options to stay stylish but with less upkeep. Length is something
that needs to be nurtured, so I suggest keeping the ends solid but
neatly trimmed and lacing the interior with lots of layers to add
movement and enhance the overall shape. Add spice with splashes of
color for depth, dimension and interest, evolving the color with the
season and as personal budgets allow." |
 |
| According
to Pon, lengths are seen caressing the shoulders with a solid, but
rounded perimeter while layers and volume are "must-haves".
This longer layering helps unlock volume and movement where desired
leaving a sultry finish for length-loving ladies. |
 |
| On
the short to mid-length side, bobs are still ultra-popular. They have
evolved from A-lines with exaggerated length in front to blunter edges
with rounded beveling. Piece-y layers around the face blend into side-fringe,
giving the new bob a fresh vibe. |
