Affectionately called “3 D Color”, Pon describes this effect as including three or more hues of varied contrasts of color within any haircolor family or families. It’s a finely tuned teaming of blondes intermixed with browns, shades of copper with reds, and reds, blondes and gold with multiple shades of brown. Placement of color is also highly diverse. More obvious block color is very popular and usually consists of a lighter tone or tones on top and a darker underneath. Slices of color are always in high demand and are seen in a wide array of contrasts and widths. The placement for slices is also leaning toward a more hand painted or personalized approach.
